Turns out, all the pre-tournament brew ha ha about Le'Bryan Nash wasn’t hype. The reigning co-Big 12 Freshman of the Year anchored Oklahoma State with 23 points and teammate Marcus Smart added 20 points, seven rebounds, seven assists as the Cowboys earned a resounding 76-56 win over No. 6 N.C. State in the title game of the Puerto Rico Tip-Off. While Nash did his part, this win was a complete effort from Oklahoma State (4-0); Phil Forte added 17 points for the Cowboys, who outrebounded the Wolfpack 42-27. Rodney Purvis had 16 points and T.J. Warren added 15 points for the Wolfpack (3-1), who shot only 28.6 percent from the field. The final was a fitting end to a wonderful three days in Puerto Rico—and at the new venue, the Coliseo Ruben Rodriquez in Bayamón. MORE | 2013 Field
